Brunner Reflections

Taken just after sunrise at Lake Brunner, early enough to avoid the boats and the first ripple of the day.

What I never tire of here are the reflections. The way the lake becomes a second world — equally real, equally detailed — holding the light in its own quiet way. The tops of the trees catch that first golden warmth while the water remains cool and blue, creating a natural contrast that feels both balanced and alive.

There’s something about this moment that feels full of possibility. Light dancing across the surface. Shapes doubling. Familiar landscapes becoming something slightly new.

It’s not dramatic. It’s deliberate.

This piece works beautifully in calm, open spaces — living rooms, bedrooms, studies, or entryways — where natural light can interact with it throughout the day. The cool blues and gentle golds settle a room rather than dominate it, bringing depth without noise.
