Morning Mirror

Early morning walks at Iveagh Bay have become a ritual.

Before the boats. Before the noise. Before the day settles into itself.

What I love most is how the light reshapes the landscape every time. The same shoreline. The same trees. But depending on the cloud, the angle, the softness of the morning — it becomes something entirely new.

Here, the water held the sky like glass. The silhouettes of the trees doubled, stretching into the lake as if the world had been quietly turned upside down. The mountains sit back in shadow, while the sky begins to soften.

It’s calm, but not empty. Moody, but not heavy.
