Movement

This collection is about moving the camera or the subject.

Using intentional camera movement (ICM), these images explore what happens when you let go of sharpness and certainty. The camera is moved during exposure — vertically, horizontally, sometimes instinctively — allowing light, colour, and form to stretch and blend.

What remains isn’t a record of a scene, but an impression of it.

Edges soften. Lines dissolve. Familiar places become abstract.
The image becomes less about what you’re looking at and more about how it feels to see it in that moment.

Movement is about changing perspective — allowing light and motion to do the work, and trusting the result rather than controlling it.

Each piece sits somewhere between photography and abstraction, inviting you to slow down, look longer, and find your own meaning within the blur.
